Our unique approach to kid’s body and movement incorporates age-appropriate yoga poses, engaging movement, and breathing techniques with games, music, art, and storytelling. Your child will be inspired to stretch, dance, and play while learning values such as kindness, empathy, and respect for themselves and others.

Overall, our classes hope to build confidence, encourage social-emotional learning, as well as increase physical strength and balance.

Meet Your Instructor Pamela Nieto

Pamela Nieto is the founder of The Giving Tree, a yoga and experience-focused program dedicated to connecting little one’s minds, bodies & hearts. Pamela has a deep love for children, a passion for wellness and holistic health, as well as a desire to build community. Pamela was an anxious child who didn't have the tools to cope with everyday stressors. She started thinking how much it would have helped her with school, sports and social activities. This is why her mission today is to empower children by teaching life skills and giving them tools to help them thrive. Pamela has over 20 years of experience working with children in different settings and is a certified adult yoga and children’s yoga instructor.

 

Kids yoga is held on Saturdays for 45-minute long classes at 10:30am at our downtown Jersey City location.
